East Bethel City Hall and Senior / Community Center

This 214 foot long mural is painted on stucco and depicts scense from the lovely Cedar Creek Ecosystem Reserve in East Bethel, MN (See Landscape Painting page and click the "100 and More..." link  for further info about CCESR). It demonstrates what can be done to transform a bland, blank wall into a visual treat. This rear fascade of the building faces Booster Park and its walking path around a large pine-ladden pond. Painting these scenes seemed like a good way to visually continue and expand the appreciation and enjoyment of nature rather than having the building be a wall enclosing the experience with a stark white border. Among the views are Fish Lake on the far right end of the 14 foot high wall, Cedar Creek, and a sunlit path through a wooded area called "The Fairylands".
